MATILDA EVALUATION On Tuesday the 5th of March we performed Matilda's school song in a showcase to peers, family and friends. As a whole I was happy with the  groups overall performance but I will be evaluating my performance in the group piece. I played a big kid, my role was to scare the little kids about going to school which required me to play a aggressive and intimidating character. CHARACTERISATION Characterisation was a big challenge for me during performances in rehearsals. Characterisation was something that I often achieved when my group practised in a separate room from the other or when I was alone. I believe this was due to a lack of confidence in portraying a threatening character. But during the performance I felt that I managed to keep that intimidating and mean character for the majority of  the performance, and when I watched it back I was happy to see that I did portray characteristics of mean older kid.
